Of particular note are the rows of finely preserveed teeth within the reptilian skull in profile. The Claudiosaurus is classified as a diapsid rather than a dinosaur, as evidenced by the distinctive shaping of the skull. In life the specimen's splayed feet would have been webbed, allowing for better traversal through its swampy environment.

In excellent condition. With nicks and marks to the edges and reverse of the slab, consistent with removal of the fossil specimen and limestone matrix.
