Of natural form, left unpolished to highlight the furrowed texture in the specimen. The olivine-rich aggregates feature with impressive three-dimensionality, and were derived from a fragmented olivine layer at the bottom of the mantle that was invaded by a metallic liquid during mixing at the core-mantle boundary. The specimen freestanding.
