The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In sound condition and ready to place. The malachite with natural inclusions, some very faint surface scratches and some minor scattered nicks. The tops of the pedestals with some faint wear to the tops where urns sit. The ormolu with typical rubbing, faint surface wear, tarnish and verdigris, including to the handles and mounts on the neck of the vases and swan-form handles. The vases turn in their bases but secure. The lids restored, with scattered losses to the malachite veneer and some areas with glue residue.
