The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Work not examined outside of frame. Overall with scattered areas of minor surface soiling and staining. With six vertical creases the full height of the paper, some with associated losses of pigment. With frame abrasion and small tears to the extreme edges. With losses to the paper along upper and lower edges, the largest approximately 1¹⁄₂ in. long by ³⁄₄ in. high at the upper right corner.
