Soiled and game prepared "muddied" Lee MacPhail American League baseball signed and inscribed on side panel, "To Ron, Great job. Don’t forget how you did it. Best Wishes, Gaylord Perry 5-6-82". Additional small notation of "#300" in Perry's hand found on the manufacturer's sweet spot. Perry finally achieved the hallowed mark of 300 career victories as a member of the Seattle Mariners in 1982. Perry defeated the Yankees for his 300th win joining a very elite club of pitchers who had reached that level. The ball was inscribed to American League umpire Ron Kaiser who subsequently sold it to hobbyist Alan Rosen. The ball is accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from Rosen pictured with Kaiser. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA and letter of provenance from Alan Rosen: Ball: VG-EX, Signature: NM
