The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In overall fairly good condition.
With the inevitable knocks, marks, losses, scratches and shrinkage cracks, consistent with age and use.
As stated the japanning later - currently with rubbed losses, particularly to the figures to the top.
The top with filled cracks and shrinkage split to the upper quarter of field, would benefit from securing.
The banjo catch to underside moved historically.
The legs with shrinkage and probably reattached.
One crack to stem of leg support which requires stabilising.
Otherwise highly decorative and structurally secure.
