The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pencil and estompe on wove buff paper. Hinged to the mount at the reverse upper sheet corners. The sheet undulates slightly. Some light staining. A horizontal crease in the lower half of the composition (approx. 15cm.) and a few minor creases and handling marks elsewhere. The artist's pinholes towards the upper corners and one towards the lower left. The reverse edges with remnants of old adhesive paper in places. The pencil is strong and fresh. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
