The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- with wide margins, the sheet edges evenly cut.
- the brown ink a little muted.
- faint mount staining.
- a tiny, pale foxmark in the margin to the upper left of the image, some other very pale scattered foxmarks in the margins.
- some very pale and unobtrusive time staining at the extreme sheet edges.
- two tiny moisture stains at the extreme lower sheet edge to the right.
- inscribed in pencil cat. L. 42 [?] at lower left recto.
- inscribed in pencil Dr. Michael Plettler [?] in pencil at the upper sheet edge verso (possibly fractionally cut).
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
