Lot Essay

Ho Lo Sze Ada, also known as Hing Ling, was born in Hong Kong. She has been enthusiatic about painting since her childhood, and started to learn watercolor painting and sketching. She learned a wide array of artistic skills across different areas, including the art of making Yixing zisha teaware, guqin music, and the art of Thangka painting in Tibet. She later studied under the tutelege of Lam Wu-Fui (b. 1945). In recent years, she consistently attempts to create works in her own unique style by integrating various artistic features into Chinese ink painting.
