Born on Gulangyu Island, Xiamen, Hung Hoi is a renowned ink painter who, upon relocating to Hong Kong in 1978, was under the tutelage of Yang Shanshen. Hung’s works are collected by prominent institutions such as the National Art Museum of China, the British Museum, and the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
