NOTE:
Kwan Leung-choi (1935-2014), son of Kwan Yuk-chi, is known as the "Father of Hong Kong Bowling." He participated in numerous local and international bowling competitions. Appointed as the Lifetime Honorary President of the Hong Kong Tenpin Bowling Congress, he made significant contributions to the sport in Hong Kong. Currently, the South China Athletic Association hosts the Kwan Leung-choi Memorial Trophy in his honor.

Kwan Yuk-chi (1908–1959), courtesy name Chung-man, was born in Kaiping, Guangdong. In 1940, he co-founded Hang Lung Bank (originally Hang Lung Silver Shop) with his elder brother Kwan Nang-chong (1903–1996).

A leading figure in Hong Kong’s financial and community sectors, Kwan served as Chairman of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society and Chief Director of Po Leung Kuk. His leadership extended to the South China Athletic Association and the Hong Kong Kaiping Merchants Association, reflecting his dual commitment to commerce and public service.
