The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
1. FENG KANGHOU (1901-1983)
Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Seal Script
-There are some mould spots and insect holes on the work.
-There are water stains at the bottom of the couplets.
-The work is in overall good condition.
2. CEN GUANGYUE (1876-1960)
Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Regular Script
-There are a few restorations on the work.
-The work is in overall very good condition.
