The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

(1) Calligraphy: Overall good condition; there are a few areas of minor silk loss and mould dot; water stains in the middle and left sections of the fan.

(2) Orchid: Overall good condition; there are areas of crease and silk loss, mainly in the upper right and lower right sections of the fan.

(3) Boating: Overall good condition, there are mould marks appeared in the upper part and along the fan rim.

(4) Crossing Bridge: Overall very good condition; there are a few mould dots in the upper part and silk losses in the lower left section of the fan.
