Lot Essay

One of the most tropical of Zuzek's florals, Lillies fully encapsulates the plethora meanings of the word including Suzie Zuzek's "Lilly Look". Every bit of space is filled with overlapping lilies and lily-of-the-valley, a literal interpretation of millefleur. Used on some of the more avant-garde Lilly Pulitzer women's wear, this pattern would appear on the pages of Harper's Bazaar in 1969 via a matching set of harem pants and an airy top.
