In overall good condition and ready to hang. Please note that these original watercolors became designs used in print-making and may contain holes, notations and/or other interesting marks. Close examination reveals scattered areas of minor surface staining throughout. With left, right, and lower edges rough cut. With scattered pieces of tape at the edges. With two holes, 1⁄4 in. in diameter, at the lower right, not fully punched through. The paper with scattered pinholes throughout. With scattered lines in graphite tracing the profiles of painted forms.
Reverse: With scattered watercolor and graphite remains. With later titled, accession number, and date '"Signet / Lilly" / 2016.1.633 / 9/20/69©' (upper left, inverted). Inscribed "SIGNET LILLY / BY ZUZEK" (upper center, inverted). Inscribed "GREEN - SCR. 1 / BLACK SCR. 2" (lower left, sideways). Inscribed " Jean A Fraught [art technician]/ June 2, 1969 / 2 Screens / Ps. each / 111⁄8 x 15 30" x 45"' (middle, sideways).
