The stretching appears to be original and both the stretcher and canvas are in very good condition. There are light stretcher marks present. Both the ground and paint layer appear to be in very good condition, stable and well attached. There are no signs of restoration. Scattered cracks are present in the white centre square as well as in the corners. They all appear to be stable. A slightly shiny scratch mark is visible close to the right edge centre. The surface has remained unvarnished. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in generally very good and original condition.
