The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. Les angles présentent de très légères usures. Un minuscule enfoncement est visible dans l’angle inférieur droit. Une griffure, probablement d’atelier, est visible dans le quart supérieur droit. Un petit résidu doré est visible le long du bord inférieur, vers la gauche. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The corners present very slight wears. A tiny dent is visible to the lower right corner. A scratch, probably from the artist’s studio, is visible to the upper right quadrant. A small gold residue is visible along the lower edge, towards the left. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
