The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- trimmed to or just inside the platemark
- the tips of the left corners skilfully made-up (5 x 10 mm. upper corner, 2 x 3 mm. the lower corner), a couple of thin spots at the upper right corner (not visible recto)
- a few pale stains and a few pale foxmarks only visible verso
- remains of old adhesive hinges along the the right edge verso, remains of some paper fibres on the lower sheet verso, hinged at the upper sheet edge verso
- some pencil and pen and ink numberings verso
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
