The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with some minor wear and tiny scratches, possibly with traces of old gilding, the teapot, coffee pot, and kettle all with replaced insulators, as noted with French import marks only, all with scratches to the undersides obscuring other marks, the punch of which is visible on the interiors, the kettle with one replaced hinge pin, the burner with some bends to the lower edge, and with the mechanism for the wick tight.
Please note the image for this lot shows the teapot, coffee pot, and kettle with their original ivory insulators, which have since been replaced. Please contact the department for additional images and with any questions.
