The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Good overall condition. As stated in the cataloguing, constructed probably in the first half of the 20th century, the lacquer panels 18th century, and with some later 'extensions' to the decoration, just below the cornice. The removable shelves somewhat tight when being placed. With scattered age and construction cracks, including vertically to the doors but not unstable; also with general overall marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use. The lacquer sections overall in good condition, with minor scattered losses, mainly to edges; there is a general craquelure throughout the lacquer, most prominently at the black areas; some active flaking around the feet. Recommend anchoring to the wall, as one is slightly top-heavy.
