The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In sound condition and ready to place. With the expected scattered light nicks, marks and faint scratches. With small scattered patches and areas of restoration to the veneer, particularly to sliding doors, consistent with use. The sliding doors do not fully open due to warping and age. The mounts with typical rubbing, oxidation and light tarnish. The molding to the front of the top with an old break. The handles probably replaced and the pulls possibly replaced, or repositioned. The gallery and finials later added. The marble with natural inclusions, light surface scratching and small 'nibbles' to the extreme edges. The reverse with Sotheby's sale sticker, and the drawer with Sotheby's sale tag. No keys.
