The case with some scattered age and construction cracks as expected. Some small breaks to the openwork on the cresting. The decoration with some losses, minor flaking, some scattered minor in-paint, fine craquelure. The ormolu re-gilt, probably with electro-gilding in the 19th century and now with some minor rubbing, tarnish and surface dirt. The glass panels replaced and one side panel with a small loss at the top, not readily visible when placed. The dial with several scattered areas of restoration and hairline cracks.
