The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Each with some overall minor surface scratching, wear and rubbing to the enamels and gilding,. Some minor losses to the decoration, especially to the gilding. The vase with the female figure with an approx. 4 in. Y-crack to the side of the interior (does not appear to be visible to the exterior), and with an additional small X shaped hairline crack to the interior lower body (only very faintly visible to exterior). The vase with the male figure with a large firing line to the interior, and with a chip to the underside of the flaring upper rim. Both with some faint firing lines to the rims, as well as firing cracks to the underside of the foot.
