The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The case overall with some scattered age and construction cracks as expected with age and use. The proper back left leg with a split, recommend stabilizing. The interior partially reinforced. Evidence of old woodworm damage, now inactive. The back feet with some losses. The carving with some scattered minor chips, abrasions and losses (not extensive). Areas of re-gilding, and now with some flaking, rubbing, and losses, revealing gesso in areas, particularly to the lip rim. The liner with some staining, rust and corrosion as expected. Lovely carving, presents well.
