The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné. Les bords sont irréguliers. Deux très légères traces de manipulation et salissure sont sur la surface (une dans la partie inférieure, une autre dans la partie supérieure). Deux minuscules points d’accrétion sont visibles dans les angles supérieurs. De très fines traces de froissement se trouvent le long du bord gauche. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support. The edges are deckled. There are two very minor handling and dirt marks to the surface (one to the lower part, the other one to the upper part). There are two tiny pinpoint accretions to the upper corner. Two very slight creases are along the edges. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
