The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in generally good condition and ready to place. The veneers with some minor wear and fading, including to the section of tambour that would have been exposed if the desk was left open. Further a few small areas of loss, including to the banding around one drawer. One super structure drawer with both pulls loose, but retained, another lacking one pull, a third lacking the ring. The leather surfaces with some wear, rubbing, fading, and scratches. Some lower drawers slightly tight and with some minor staining to interiors. The marble panels overall with some minor nicks, scratches, and 'nibbling' to the edges. Three of the four panels previously broken into multiple pieces, now restored and reattached, with some associated visible glue and infill. The ormolu with very light rubbing and wear. Lacking keys.
