The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall in generally good condition. Previously re-gilt, the giltwood with some scattered chips, losses to carving and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas as to be expected with age. The top most leaves of the bouquet re-attached and with some minor associated restoration. Some additional minor restoration to breaks throughout. A small section of leaf lacking from the cresting and the right of frame. With typical minor signs of old wood worm to the reverse, now inactive. The mirror plate apparently original, with some minor foxing and minor losses to the silvering.
