The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.


The present lot requires repair. The center portion of the dial and hands are in very good condition and appear to be original. The outer track appears to have been melted over by the bezel gasket or the bezel paint itself and will need to be removed by a watchmaker. The case is in good condition with scratches and small nicks throughout. The inner case is stamped ‘3-75’. The bezel has wear and has lost paint. The bracelet clasp is stamped “Zenith” and is in good condition with scratches throughout. The functions are not working at the time of cataloguing and will require repair. The movement is not in working order at the time of cataloging. The inner case gaskets are disintegrating and will need to be changed.
