Unveiled in 2017, the MB&F Legacy Machine Split Escapement is a bold evolution of Maximilian Büsser’s vision of modern horology. This titanium edition, limited to just 33 pieces, stands out with its captivating green dial, achieved through plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD), creating a rich, textured effect.

While retaining the iconic Legacy Machine design: domed crystal, a suspended 14-mm-wide balance wheel, and white lacquered sub-dials. the Split Escapement distinguishes itself through a remarkable technical innovation. Unlike conventional designs, its anchor and escape wheel are hidden on the reverse side of the movement, connected to the balance via an ultra-long 11.78-mm balance staff.

Developed in collaboration with Irish watchmaker Stephen McDonnell, this engineering is powered by an exquisitely-finished movement, offering a 72-hour power reserve - a seamless fusion of traditional craftsmanship and MB&F’s avant-garde approach to watchmaking.
