Lot Essay

Believed to have been made in the early 1970s, this present watch is has an old-style square case with a simply stunning Lapis Lazuli stone dial. Lapis Lazuli is one of the most treasured and expensive materials since ancient times, only being used in paintings, for example, on the most special of occasions. Moreover, stone dials are very difficult to implement due to cracking and chipping. With a very elegant case, this is a lovely dress watch for gentleman or lady.
