Produced between 1985 and 1994, the Ref. 25661 was produced with a sapphire crystal caseback as opposed to the earlier automatic perpetual calendar references like the Ref. 25657. And just like the latter reference, the Ref. 25661 also featured sunken sub-dials.

The total production of this reference is said to be 342 pieces with the majority in yellow gold (244 examples), followed by platinum (37 examples), white gold like our present reference (32 examples), and pink gold (29). Elegant and stylish, this is an opportunity for collectors to acquire a classic Audemars Piguet perpetual calendar reference.
