According to the Audemars Piguet archives, the present watch was sold in 1968.

The very epitome of 1960s glamour, the present timepiece an extremely elegant example of the vintage Audemars Piguet. Exceptional haute joaillerie watches such as this were mostly made either to special order or in very small quantities. The ends of the case are set with baguette diamonds as is the now on-trend tennis bracelet, which is further set with large square-cut rubies alternating with the baguette diamonds.

Audemars Piguet’s jewellery watches bring together watchmaking and gem setting - the very best of the skills and crafts associated with haute horology. The present watch has the winding and hand-setting crown on the caseback to give a clean, slimline and sleek aesthetic.

Furthermore, the timepiece is set with 32 rubies weighing approximately 10 carats and 40 diamonds weighing approximately 4.8 carats.
