Offered in excellent overall condition, the present timepiece is part of a limited edition of 70 examples made for the London Metropolitan Police officers serving within the Royalty and Specialist Protection branch (RaSP), to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum Jubilee in 2022. The RaSP is tasked with protecting with the Royal Family and government ministers.
The dial displays the highly detailed emblem of the elite RaSP unit, the caseback features an engraving 'E II R', a reference to Queen Elizabeth II, the Royal Crown, of which special permission had to be granted by the Royal household in order to be featured on the watch. Also on the caseback is the original officer’ personal warrant number (personnel/service identification number).
