Lot Essay

IWC effortlessly combines a classical haute horology complication like the perpetual calendar with the handsome tool watch aesthetics of its iconic Big Pilot on this timepiece. Launched in 2019, the “Rodeo Drive” edition refers to the address of IWC’s boutique in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Thanks to its oversized design and instrument panel-inspired design, reading the perpetual calendar indications is extremely easy and the dial really legible.

The self-winding movement uses the pioneering perpetual calendar module developed by Kurt Klaus during the mid-1980s that allows all indications to be adjusted via the crown, so there are no buttons on the side of the case. The winding pawls and the automatic wheel are made of black ceramic while the rotor bearing is made of white ceramic.

The watch is offered with its full set of accessories and is fresh to market.
