The Master Minute Repeater represents the finest chiming watches from Jaeger-LeCoultre. Powered by the manual-winding Cal. 947, the movement has a 15-day power reserve which is indicated on the dial as well a torque indicator, showing the rotational force of the watch's mainspring in millinewton meter (mN*m].

The present timepiece is a part of a set of 41 watches commissioned by Royal Opera House Muscat in 2015. Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, the former ruler of Oman, was a big patron of the musical arts and commissioned the building of a state-of-the-art Opera House in the capital as a beacon of the cultural arts in the region.
