The Patek Philippe Ref. 3960 is an elegant wristwatch with an officer caseback and inner dust cover that was made to mark the brand’s 150th anniversary in 1989. According to an Attestation Certificate from the maison, only 2,000 examples of the Ref. 3960 made with a yellow gold case, 150 were made in white gold and 50 in platinum. According to the same document “these watches will not be reproduced, the tools used in their manufacture having been destroyed.”
