Patek Philippe's reference 3990 was produced from 1995 until the launch of the 5971P in 2007. The Ref. 3990 was the first jewelry complicated wristwatch produced by Patek Philippe in series and was made in yellow gold, white gold, and platinum. It is believed that only 5 pieces were made in platinum. This watch is one of only three ref. 3990 in platinum to appear in public to date. The watches were delivered with an additonal caseback, expect in platinum wherein the additonal caseback was optional.

OVERALL CONDITION: The watch is in extremely good condition.
DIAL: The dial is clean and original. The lume plots on the hours and minutes hands are reacting briefly to UV light.
CASE: The case is in good condition with light surface scratches. The platinium hallmarks are visible are crisp, deep, and visible on the side of the lugs.
MOVEMENT: Ticking at the time of cataloguing and all functions are working. However, a service is recommended.
