Lot Essay

The Reference 5027 was launched in the mid-1990s (circa 1994) in a very small series. The watch was produced only in platinum and white gold was was powered by the extra-flat manual-winding Cal. 215. Only a handful of these watch have been since on the auction block since launch. There's a simplicity to the Ref. 5027 that's endearing. This elegant Patek Philippe ladies wristwatch has baguette-cut diamonds on the case and the quarter hour markers and gold chaton-set diamond hour markers.
