The Rolex Day-Date was launched in 1956 and was presented with the characteristic President bracelet. This dazzling example is from the early 1960’s, the present platinum Day-Date’s most striking feature is its rare dial that has an engraving of an unusual geometric line pattern that has earned it the nickname "Brooklyn Bridge". The dial has 8 round cut diamond hour markers and two baguette-cut diamonds at 6 and 9 o’clock. Further, the platinum bezel is also decked with 44 round cut diamonds. It’s no surprise that this is a much sought-after piece by discerning collectors.

OVERALL CONDITION: The watch has not been worn since it last appear at the last public auction in Geneva in 2015. Overall, it's in good codition for a watch this age.
DIAL: The dial is clean and original and has developed a warm patina, the lume plots have developed a dark grey patina too. The luminous material is intact and original.
CASE: The case is thick with visible signs of wear throughout. The platinum hallmark under the lug is deep and crisp. Inside caseback stamped 1804 and also features a platinum hallmark.
MOVEMENT: Ticking at the time of cataloguing, all functions are working. However, a service is recommended.
BRACELET: The platinum bracelet is in good overall condition for its age. The inside of the buckle is stamped 950 Pt. and 4 60.
