The present example is distinguished by its beautifully aged “gilt” dial found on the later series of Explorers models. Early series featured outer chapter ring printed in silver and the signature likewise in silver. According to serial number of this watch it was made in 1966, also confirmed by the case back stamped II.66 for the second quarter of 1966.
Enhancing its overall appeal, this very elegant Explorer is offered in very good overall condition.
