Vacheron Constantin launched the stylish Prestige de la France in the early 1970s to commemorate a milestone event in the brand’s history – the awarding of the Diplôme Prestige de la France in recognition of the manufacture’s distinctive expertise.

Featuring a trapezium-shaped asymmetrical case which was unique in design, the Prestige de la France was an elegant addition to the brand’s catalogue and was offered in a various dial colour and metal combinations.

The Prestige de la France remains one of the most iconic designs created by Vacheron Constantin, and vintage examples remain highly prized and sought by collectors. Vacheron Constantin in recent years introduced a re-edition that further ignited interest in the original examples.
