The original dial is light damaged with slight oxidation signs to the centre and above the numeral 9, very light spotting throughout, to the left of the numeral 8 a small hairline crack. Underneath the bezel the dial is partially chipped outwards, the paint in the lower left corner is chipped off and in the upper right corner a repair with white paint is visible. Hands with very slight oxidation. Case with surface wear, polished a while ago. Number underneath the lug at 1 o’clock rubbed, probably reading 027, the one underneath the lug at 11 o’clock likewise rubbed, reading 241. French hallmark to the band slightly rubbed. Case back bearing the case number and rubbed French hallmark, stamped EJ for Edmond Jaeger. Deployant clasp with slight surface wear, hallmarks are slightly rubbed. Screw heads to the band are slightly worn. Movement showing traces of oxidation. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloguing, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended.
