Lot Essay

Released in 1997, the Aquanaut is Patek Philippe’s first watch fitted with a “tropical” strap made of high-tech composite. With its sporty look it is one of the firm’s most popular models.

Ref. 5065 was in production from 1998 to 2006 when it was replaced by the larger ref. 5165.

The present example, consigned by the original owner and fresh to the market, is preserved in very good overall condition and sold with the original certificate and box.
