The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The dial is generally well preserved but has a small chip at the edge at 1 o’clock, barely visible when the bezel is closed, an almost invisible hairline between the subsidiary seconds and the edge, a scratch across just below the centre line. The case is well preserved for a watch of this date, light surface scratches visible to the naked eye and some small dents to the band, the back with engraved monogram. The movement and functions are in working order at the time of cataloguing consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended.
