Introduced in 2017, the Cellini Moonphase marked the return of the moon phase complication to the Rolex collection for the first time since the 1950s. A departure from the manufacture's renowned professional and sports watches, the Cellini line has long represented Rolex's interpretation of classical elegance, combining refined aesthetics with the brand's uncompromising technical standards. In 2023, Rolex discontinued the Cellini collection, effectively passing the torch to the Perpetual 1908, whose timeless design language draws clear inspiration from its predecessor.

The Cellini Moonphase is powered by the self-winding calibre 3195, developed specifically for the model. Combining reliability with everyday practicality, the movement allows the moon phase to be adjusted via the corrector at 8 o'clock, while the independently adjustable hour and date hands enable effortless time-zone changes without interrupting the movement or compromising its chronometric precision. Elegant in appearance and technically sophisticated, the Cellini Moonphase stands as one of Rolex's most distinctive modern complications.
