The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing; however, a service is recommended. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Case: With scratches and dents. The case has been previously polished. Traces of handling on the lugs. The back case shows scratches and dents. The glass is scratched.
Dial: Good condition. Some damage visible on the edge of the dial. Service hands and service bezel.
Bracelet: The bracelet is loose with surface wear and scratches. Has been previously polished. Number 93150, end links 501B (for Submariner). The clasp has been replaced, with code LT7 (July 2009).
Overall condition: Good

The condition of lots sold in our auctions can vary widely due to factors such as age, previous damage, restoration, repair and wear and tear.
