Lot Essay

The IWC Mark XII is a modern classic with design elements coming from pilot and military watches. The Mark XII has a utilitarian design with a very legible dial and great functionality. This particular watch is a part of an extremely rare limited edition created especially for the Patrouille Suisse, the Swiss Airforce's acrobatic pilot team. This particular limited edition is made distinct from the regular model by having the Patrouille Suisse logo emblazoned on the lower portion of the dial as well as having special caseback engravings.
