Lot Essay

Patek Philippe launched the reference 3433 in 1960 and was in production until around 1966. In this time period approximately 500 examples were produced, most in yellow gold. This model’s distinguishing features are the screw-back case and automatic movement. The dials on these models were made by Stern Frères and cases made by Wenger. Early examples like the present watch feature the “PP” crown whereas later ones bear the Calatrava cross.
