The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.


The watch is in excellent overall condition with light surface scratches. A crisp hallmark can be seen to the top left leg and right case side. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. A very small spot to the dial between 4 and 5 o'clock. The date aperture with some oxidation. The subsidiary seconds 3 o clock indices has a light scratch.The dial cannot be easily removed from the movement. It must be assumed that it is fixed with the help of glue. For this reason it is not possible to view the back of the dial. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
