The present lot is offered in overall very good condition. The dial is clean. The dial reads: “Chronometro Gondolo”, the paint is starting to fade around the “O&L” of the Gondolo. The hands are starting to develop a nice patina more specifically seen in the seconds hand. The case is in overall good condition with signs of wear consistent with the age. There are light signs of wear around the case back as well as, visible scuffs along the sides of the case. The inner caseback is inscribed with Case no 294206. The Cuvet is inscribed with the engraving dedicated to “Gondolo” and “Labouriou”. The outside ring of the cuvet is engraved with Patek Philippe & Cie, as well as the movement number, No’170954. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
